MISSIONS OF THE INTERNATIONAL RELAY

Life of prayer and intercession in Community

On the first place stands for us a life in community with a regular rhythm, the liturgy of the Community of the Beatitudes and the participation in the program of the parish. By continually learning abandonment of our life we are carrying all those in prayer and intercession who have consecrated themselves to Mary in the Communion Mary Queen of Peace. We take one Monday per month to pray in solitude especially in this intention. We call this Monday “The Garden Day”, referring to the tradition of the church which calls the soul of the Virgin Mary an “enclosed Garden”. We also have a regular dialog concerning the different initiatives of the Communion Mary Queen of Peace in the whole world.

Times of formation

During the year we regularly do the 33-days preparation for the consecration in times of common community prayer and exchange.

New : since 2007 our house is open for committed members who want to live together with us the 33-days preparation for the consecration – on the foot of mount Podbrdo – and who want to enter into the school of Mary. A time of accompaniment and formation will be ensured.

Reception of pilgrims and diffusion of the consecration book

Some of us give teachings and testimony in order to invite to the consecration to Mary. In the years of 2004 to 2006 here we have received pilgrims from 30 different countries, all including about 15.000 pilgrims.

The consecration book is available in 12 different languages. Within the last 4 years here in Regina Pacis we distributed about 27.000 books.

If groups wish we also offer guided times of prayer on Mount Podbrdo and Mount Krizevac or preached retreats.

Our products

Dependent on the brothers and sisters present in our house we also do some arts and craft: at the moment we offer ornamented candles, icons and “Little Child Jesus” and other items made of plaster. We also recorded CD’s (in german and French) with songs of the Community of the Beatitudes and other songs of adoration.

The international coordination

The international coordinator’s job is…

•…to pay a visit step by step to all the different relays of the Communion Mary Queen of Peace. To lighten his job there will be appointed by and by regional consultants on-the-spot.

•…to be disposable for the questions, ideas and intuitions of the actual team on-the-spot.

•…to take care especially that the relays is well integrated in the respective local church and that good relationships with the relevant bishop or the pastor of the actual parish are established; to take the opportunity to meet the relevant bishop together with the responsibles and some members of the relays.

•…to take care that behind all the activities of the Communion Mary Queen of Peace there is a clear pastoral concept.

•…to participate in Marian Days, open for all, in order to inform about the Communion Mary Queen of Peace and to offer teachings. These Marian Days are an opportunity for all new members to consecrate themselves solemnly to Mary.

•…to ensure education and training for the members. There could be organized short retreats or meetings to deepen how the consecration to Mary can be lived in everyday life. (There will be offered gatherings by the relay during the year that go in the same direction.)

The office serving the international coordination

• A little team takes care of the office for international coordination, in order to ensure the contacts between the relays worldwide by phone, email or webcam.

• A translation service in five languages (English, German, Italian, Spanish and French) is always disposable and ensures the translation of the comment of Ephraim on the message of the 25th of each month, the translation of the circular letters and other information.

• Missions to different countries will be prepared to visit the relays. Besides meetings and retreats for the members of the Communion Mary Queen of Peace for deepening the consecration to Mary will be shaped.

• The internet page will be set up to date permanently offering the newest information of the relays worldwide.

• A great work is also the careful provision of testimonies. The aim is to show the “victories of Mary” which are visible today and which prepare the final victory according to the promises of Fatima:

“At the end my Immaculate Heart will triumph.”
